Vision

Our vision is to be the nation’s premier and most respected entrepreneurship program that empowers students to innovate and transform society.

History

The Entrepreneurship Minor first launched in Fall 2018 with a small cohort of less than 90 students. Since then the program has raised funds to offer sponsored practicum courses, private guest speaker events, undergraduate student community events, and co-working space for students across the university and the Summer Entrepreneurship Academy.

History
Undergrads

Today the Entrepreneurship Minor has over 800 students from majors across campus and requires entrepreneurship courses across the College of Liberal Arts, College of Fine Arts, Moody College of Communication, Cockrell School of Engineering, College of Natural Sciences and The McCombs School of Business. US News & World Report ranks the University of Texas as #7 in entrepreneurship education and Princeton Review rankings rated UT as #2 in the nation.
